Catholic Homes Belmont Aged Care is Open

Our recently completed project for Catholic Homes in Belmont has been handed over, and the building officially opened with a blessing ceremony on Thursday 14th September.

Now named the  Sister Mary Glowrey Residential Care Facility to honour the life of a pioneering Australian female doctor who followed her vocation into religious life to care for the poor and marginalised, the residential care facility brings 96 new aged care beds into the region.

The facility offers ageing-in-place, dementia care and palliative care, in a comfortable and home-like environment and features open-air courtyards with covered balconies, a tree-lined sensory garden space, a wellness centre, staff and meeting/training rooms, and a coffee bar.

We would like to thank everyone involved in bringing this project to fruition and hope the residents enjoy their new home.
