The State Government’s $451 million redevelopment of Bunbury Regional Hospital will transform the facility into one of the most modern hospitals in regional Australia. When complete, Bunbury Regional Hospital will be the biggest in country WA, reflecting its role as an important community healthcare hub for the South West region.
We are seeking candidates with commercial construction experience as a HSE Advisor. This role will provide HSE advice and support to the Project Management team, develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders and positively influence HSE outcomes across all levels of project management.
This role will provide HSE advice and support to the Project Management team, develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders and positively influence HSE outcomes across all levels of project management. The site-based role includes key tasks including:
- Contribute to the continuous development of HSE Management systems and identify opportunities for improvement with the ultimate goal of achieving industry best practice.
- Identify cost effective solutions for project HSE matters.
- Assist project management representatives to prepare and implement project HSE and emergency management plans.
- Conduct WHS inspections and audits and identify required actions.
- Contribute to the assessment of subcontractors/suppliers and their capability to comply with health and safety conditions as defined by Subcontract Agreements.
- Seek to identify health and safety initiatives, promote and share with others
To be considered for this role candidates must hold the following:
- Commercial construction experience in a HSE Advisor role
- Relevant qualifications in HSE
- White Card
- Drivers Licence
