Established in 1969, Family owned Leeuwin Estate is one of the five founding wineries in the Margaret River region. Celebrating the combination of fine wine, food, art and music, the Leeuwin Estate features an award winning restaurant, cellar door and art gallery.
Rejuvenation of this building involved integrating modern architectural concepts into existing features, whilst maintaining the overall history of the building. Works consisted of a new Alfresco Structure with glass roof canopy. New Private Tasting Entry statement. Refurbishment of Basement Gallery, Private Tasting, Alfresco Lounge, Restaurant as well as replacement of large sections of roof and wall sheeting.
This project was winner of Best Commercial Alterations & Additions $2m-$3m in the Master Builders Association South West Building Excellence Awards 2018.
