Margaret River Senior High School is a very unique school in that it incorporates a broad spectrum of curriculum that is structured to local industry; such as viticulture, farming and supporting industries. Perkins Builders are pleased to have completed works to facilitate this great curriculum in our South West Region.

Following the demolition of several existing buildings, the works completed as part of the contract included the construction of a new two storey General Learning Block, new Health and Physical Education Block, two storey Science Block, Intensive Farming Shed and Lower Farming Shed. Additions and refurbishments were completed to the existing Administration Block and Student Services Block and associated drainage, as well as services installation, site preparation and landscaping. A new Transformer, Site main Switchboard and compound were provided, along with a new Fire Pump set, and new sewer connections. Additionally, external hardscape and covered walkways, parking and street bus embayment’s .

The project was delivered in five separable portions, with complex staging to keep the school functional. Works within the main school areas were carefully planned to ensure the safety of students and so that access was maintained at all times.
