The Hocart Lodge project comprised of a 60 bed Aged Care Facility delivered in two stages.

Stage 1 involved the demolition of three dwellings, a workshop and hardstand parking spaces which allowed for the construction of the first 30 beds, kitchen, laundry, workshops, parking spaces and temporary admin facilities.

The second stage involved the demolition of the existing operational facility. The residents were relocated into the completed Stage 1 Facility. The final 30 beds were constructed during this stage with a link established to the existing dementia unit.

This project was awarded Best Health/Aged Care Building and the 2019 South West Bankwest Best Regional Project Award at the 2019 Master Builders Bankwest Building Excellence Awards South West.

Hocart Lodge was awarded Best Regional Project at the 2019 Western Australia Master Builders Bankwest Excellence in Construction Awards and went on to be a finalist at the Master Builders Australia National Awards.
