The Dunn Bay Brewery project now titled “Southcamp” is a mixed-use development project located in the heart of Dunsborough, on the former Peko-Peko restaurant site. The new development includes three main buildings: a microbrewery (Building 1), a restaurant (Building 2), and a café, a mixed-use continental store and two short stay apartments (Building 3). All three buildings incorporate a modern industrial style with exposed structural steel columns, open 10m high truss roof with Bondor ceilings, polished concrete floors and various architectural features such as birchwood ply linings.

At the centre of the three buildings is a large open courtyard and decked area, where patrons of the food & beverage spaces will dine whilst the children can play on the lawn and in the sandpit. At the rear of the site is a mix landscaped area with lawn, pathways, rammed earth seating and timber log play features.

Perkins are proud to announce this project was awarded Best Regional Project and Best Retail Building at the Master Builders-Commonwealth Bank South West Building Excellence Awards in 2023. This project was also a Finalist for Best Regional Project in the Master Builders-Commonwealth Bank Excellence in Construction Awards 2023.
