Safety in action at Smith Street!

Perkins Builders recently welcomed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) to the Smith Street Build to Rent project for a joint high-angle rescue training exercise.
The exercise simulated the rescue of an unconscious person from the tower cranes machinery deck, providing DFES with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the project, site access arrangements, and tower crane configuration.
The exercise was completed successfully, with positive feedback received regarding the site’s presentation, emergency access arrangements, and security controls around the tower crane.
Thank you to the 14 DFES personnel, WA Police observers and everyone involved in coordinating this valuable emergency preparedness exercise.
